Hi Anton. I’m big fan of the theory of constraints! Regarding your first prediction, where to you anticipate the bottleneck to shift? It seems implied that it would move upstream of the development team. I’ve read some opinions that argue that figuring out what to build would be the new bottleneck, and others that it would be downstream (e.g. in the end users’ inability to absorb new changes/features at a faster rate). Curious to hear your thoughts.

Hey Jake.

At this stage of everything is a guess, but mine is that it'll move upstream. Having a coherent but ambitious vision for the product.

As for the end users - I believe we have trouble absorbing features/changes when they are done in a poor and overwhelming way. There is a lot of talk about how the next generation of applications will be much more customized to the user, so you'll be able to affect what you see (and not by a clunky preferences screen).
